Your Pain is Welcome, Here.

I may not know you but I am here for you. Please feel free to reach out.

This photo was taken on the worst day of my life.

I'm smiling because it was my reflex.

Reject the pain. Move forward. Put it away.

That doesn't work. It never does.

You don't have to smile through it.

I wasted too much time and energy doing this.

The pain was insurmountable.

The heartbreak felt like it would never stop hurting.

And I lay there.

I cried all night. And I felt like my life was over.

But then... in the morning, I woke up.

And I cried. And I breathed. And I got up. And I took a shower.

And then I cried some more.

Why all this pain, Jesus? I don't get it. Why did you let this happen?

"To fulfill my purpose in your life, my love."

And that was the morning. I began writing 60 < I.

A project I am so proud of. One that has helped people.

And it helped them feel seen and loved.

Your pain is your power.

Feel all of it.

To grieve deeply is to have loved fully.

Being there for someone is severely underrated and is oftentimes the best thing you can do.
