Here’s what made today so special, y’all!
When I got to LA, I was so flipping scared.
I spent the entire drive to the airport two hours after my graduation (yes, not my smartest decision but no regrets) crying my eyes out.
Martin Antoon can attest.
When I got here, I was absolutely floored by the two pretty much strangers Jacob Athyal and Sonali Sundaraj who came to pick me up from LAX at 2 am and had Indian food waiting for me when we got back to the home I would live in in North Hollywood.
This photo is a shot-for-shot point of view of that night.
They have been the most incredible sources of hope, realism, kindness, and support these past 7 months.
I haven’t had the best history with family and I was so scared and alone coming here but in their special, amazing way, they’ve made me trust in the possibility of a family unit.
I was wondering to myself and praying these last few days about how I could thank them for everything they’ve done.
And today, as I was on my run, I got an email from work that I had won two tickets in a lottery to Oscars night at the museum Academy Museum of Motion Pictures
First off, thank you so much, work!!
I’m honored and blessed to serve our team and guests.
And since I will be working the Oscars, my two besties will be getting those tickets.
One word stood out above all else.
Like the Holy Spirit whispered to me to “breathe and hope.”
The new, clear voice says “trust”
I trust and I surrender to you, Jesus.
So thankful for the most loving roomies a guy could ask for.
