Art Thoughts: AEW Live at The Kia Forum
There is something about the intensity and passion of a live pro wrestling event.
Right from the opening brawl between Mox and Hangman Adam Page to the main event of The Elite vs. Death Triangle, I couldn't stop myself from being fully drawn in and immersed in this amazing, beautiful, and crazy segment of entertainment.
There was no denying that this was a "professional wrestling" event!
MJF's promo game was on point, as usual, and I have never felt more honored to be called one of the "LA bums" in attendance.
Witnessing Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and Bryan Danielson in a live environment is indescribable.
Adam Cole's promo was one for the ages and reminded me of the deep love connection to the craft and fans these performers feel.
I quickly learned why they are four of the best technical wrestlers in the business today.
Each chop was woooo'd, every bump was felt, and the live audience was all in for this phenomenal 5-hour night of professional wrestling entertainment.
It greatly increased the amount of respect I have for these brilliant artists and their craft.
The show was well thought out and had such fun through line and structure.
Hearing Chris Jericho cut a promo was a dream come true, and singing "Judas" with the audience in attendance was surreal.
All Elite Wrestling promised a thrilling night of professional wrestling with some of the best in the business.
They not only delivered but exceeded all my expectations.
I can scratch that one off the list.
Thank you to the Security staff at the Kia Forum for helping me out!
And a huge shout-out to all of the staff that works these events.
They have to put up with so much and still care enough to give me the best experience.
What a beautiful, tremendous, surreal, glorious, and simply All Elite kinda night.
A dream come true and a blessing that I could have never imagined eight or so years ago when I didn't want to make it to the next day.
One breath at a time.
