A year of hopeful expectation.

A year marred by heartache, deception, and sorrow, and rejection.

A year that made my heart flutter for the man I’ve chosen to be.

I have no highlight reel.

My highlight reel is the breath that I’m breathing right here and now.

At least 2 people have ceased to exist within that breath. That second.

I’m still here. And so are you.
