When I was a little boy, I would use my imagination to escape and explain away painful experiences.

Now, thanks to therapy, Ms Cathy and time with Jesus, I’m able to process those feelings but that little tool is one I still use today.

After a night of my heater dying on me, I woke up frustrated, angry, and tired.

I remember my little tool from my childhood and used it.

The heat had been stolen away by a thief of warmth and the only way to appease him was to bring him a bunch of bagels (cause I needed a reason to get out and get some food) and run 14 miles.

And it worked!! I was warmer than I’ve been in a while!

Thankful.

Blessed.

Hopeful.
