Perspective.

We fight.

We battle each other.

We rage wars.

We've forgotten how to have a conversation.

I had forgotten.

For a long time, I hid behind my carefully crafted barbs and found it lacking.

Found it weak and boring.

Why couldn't I sit next to someone who didn't share the same opinions and talk.

Break bread.

Keep our voices and emotions in check.

And talk.

Yes. I have plenty of friends who see the world the way I do and a plethora of friends who see it differently.

And I know for certain that I see it in a way that no one else sees it.

Isn't that the point.

To be unique but to share with each other.

What have they done to us?

What have we done to us?

Sure, the system is broken but so is our posture.
