Redemption: Poetic Prose. Protect the future.

My gift of being an artist comes with a responsibility.

It comes with rights and responsibilities.

The right to speak my mind but also the right to understand and comprehend and research.

Thank you to each one of you who reached out and spoke to me.

I did plenty of my own research and found a balance.

There is nothing I can do to change what is done.

But, I do believe the admittance of fault is the only way forward.

Protect the future.

We hide.

We pretend.

We refuse to believe that there is a world where kids are trafficked.

I did. And I ignored it.

But then… it became impossible to ignore.

Our lusts. Our desires. Built an industry. An industry of sexual “freedom”.

But… we refuse to talk about the impact of those misconstrued “freedoms” on youth and children that can’t protect themselves.

We hide behind our “safeties” and our “securities”

And pretend. Yet… reality is undeniable.

Pain is real. And we oftentimes don’t understand it till it hits us.

We have the right to fight. To talk about it. To fight for those that can’t yet fight for themselves.

But to fight without knowing who or what we are fighting is ignorance and foolishness.

Fight for these angels.

We can make a difference.

We need to rage against this disease. And dream of Hope. And fight for it.

Sexual freedom comes with sexual responsibility, education, and understanding.

Protect the children. Protect our future. Protect our Hope.
