I am not perfect.

I've hurt people.

I've failed.

I've been wrong.

I will be better.

I will not allow fear to control me.

I will not allow the past to restrain me.

I will apologize.

I will know why I am apologizing.

I will make amends.

I will be kind even to those who are unkind.

I will be a good friend.

I will not seek to invalidate others' feelings and experiences that make me feel as though I've failed.

I will learn from them, humble myself and start again.
