Hi y’all,

As you may know, I love sharing happy things.

But, I also love being honest and real about how challenging this life is.

As I walked to work today, there was a man who had passed away on the side of the street.

My heart was broken thinking of what he had been through.

The weather was horrible in LA.

Hail storms and winds that were out of control.

I can’t imagine what it was like to not be in my home.

Yet, 66,000 Los Angelenos were out on the streets.

I will make as much of a difference as I can right now but I promise you that one day, I will have the resources to make a difference and I promise you, I will.

Numbing the pain you’re feeling to the point where you’ve overdosed is a fate I wouldn’t wish upon anyone else.

The man’s belongings still remained.

I pray with all my heart that he’s in a better place and I will never stop fighting to take care of people while they’re here.
