GOOD 560 X ATL Parks and Recreation Department: ReDesigning Resilience

I absolutely loved continuing on with this project, working with our amazing Atlanta Park Workers and alongside the tremendous Professor Ellen Fowles and my awesome colleagues in the Fashion and Branding Schools at SCAD.

This project was initially rather intimidating but I stepped into it with a posture of hope and excitement and the result was 10 weeks of intense yet deeply rewarding work.

The project concluded with a presentation to the South-West District Park Crew and it was such a special moment to present them with our working prototype outfits, and engage in the continuous process of feedback and implementation.

What a gift, honor, privilege, and passion project it was to serve these unsung heroes of our community spaces!

Thank you Park workers all over the world for doing what you do and making our parks safe and happy places to be connected with nature and our communities.
