If I don’t know where I’ve come from, I lose sight of who I’ve become.

I have the blessing of fighting to be an American Citizen.

I will always be a strong and proud Indian, first.

I know where I came from.

And I stand on the shoulders of those who came before me.

The patriots. (people who love their country and want it to change and grow and be the best it can be)

The addicts.

The grievers.

The lovers.

And I move forward and I own my space.

Every single time.

I know who I am.

I know who I was.

I know how I started.

And I know what God has started in and through me.

And we are just getting started.

And I regret none of it.

I live in the reality of it.

The pain of it.

The sadness of it.

The heartbreak of it.

The pain I’ve caused.

Because I grew from it.

And I built from those ashes.

And did everything I could to fix what I broke.

And here I stand.

Undefeated.

And certain of the God I live in devotion to.

My God and Savior, Jesus Christ. YEAH!
