I cannot tell you how in awe of this production I was.

I don't use this phrase too often but this musical was life-changing.

It made me feel like a child again.

It made me feel like this was the first time I was watching this story unravel.

The production itself was breathtaking and had me cheering and gasping constantly.

I unashamedly squealed as loudly as I could when baby Simba swung onto the stage as Big Simba!

Damian Sanders! YOU WERE INCREDIBLE! As was your little Simba counterpart.

It has been ages since I was that moved by a performance on stage. Before this was watching Miguel Cervantes absolutely crush it as Alexander Hamilton in Hamilton the Musical in Chicago

Also thank you for the consistent brilliant dad jokes.

They give me and the squad I work with Academy Museum of Motion Pictures the utmost joy!

The stage is where I first fell in love with performance art and this night reminded me of that more than ever!
