I absolutely adored this film!
It was one of my favorite movies I've watched this year.
The art style had me gripped from start to finish.
The delicate dance between realism and fantasy led to a film that didn't give you a moment to truly catch your breath from start to finish.
Definitely my kind of movie.
Antonio Banderas brought this beloved character back with a vengeance and turned what seemed like a pretty linear character into a complex, layered, and relatable lonely hero.
There are no words for the tremendous character design and performance by Wagner Moura as the Big Bad Wolf.
I will defend this character as the most feared "villain" I've come across in recent animated film history.
I was delighted by the storytelling clinique that Dreamworks had on view and was left wanting more! which led me to watch the movie a second time after the first!
Also running into Derek Hough was an additional amazing bonus!
I used to watch him on TV back home in India and it was so surreal and amazing to meet him and find out that he's so flipping nice!
A marvelous retelling of some of the fairytales' greatest hits, giving each character layers and complexity and exploring some of the grittiest and grim realities of humanity with a bevy of characters to love and invest in.
I am also the human embodiment of Perrito haha!
Probably going to watch this one again as soon as possible!
