Art Thoughts: Jesus Christ Superstar: 50th Anniversary Tour at Pantages Theater.

This performance was absolutely tremendous!

I was absolutely lost in this incredible cast's beautiful portrayal of this gorgeous musical.

Jack Hopewell, Elvie Ellies, and Nicholas Hambruch were the biggest standouts in my mind and had me gripped from start to finish with their portrayals of Jesus, Judas, and Pilate respectively.

I couldn't help but imagine the brutal 39 lashes my Savior received before he died for me that the production design of this production made so visceral and real.

I couldn't help but be at the edge of my seat for most of this production and I cannot express what an amazing full circle, dream-fulfilling moment this was for me.

I am so blessed to have witnessed this performance and the timeless musical score that accompanies it.

Thank you, Jesus, for dying for me.

I love you.
