4 Month Anniversary Post: Operations Manager at SCADstory.
It has been such a wonderful journey here at SCADstory and Poetter Hall.
It definitely had it's challenges and continues to push me to be the best version of myself as a leader and as a creative professional.
Been equated to some more characters who are captured in the collage, as well!
It has been such a joy implementing new traditions and workshopping what already exists to boost its efficiency and returns on investment.
Saturday Treat Train and thoughtful performance reviews, feedback sessions, and questions of the week have been some of the new strategies that I have implemented.
Tonight, we have an incredible team-building event! Nightmare on Bull Street to celebrate our students and bring the team together.
It has been so special and fulfilling to implement strategies from my Masters program and watch them create huge boosts in our productivity, profitability, and donations that can be tracked and qunatified.
I conducted my first ever set of interviews alongside the rest of management and in doing so, stepped into something I was rather fearful of doing and found incredible strength in it.
With our students that were not the right fit for the role, I crafted a rejection email that hopefully gave them perspective towards the lessons they could learn and the room for growth.
I have found a great sense of pride, empowerment and joy in this role and I am so thankful for every moment spent in elevating this job and stepping into what one of our students called "The Golden Era" of SCADstory.
